A new study by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) estimates U.S. taxpayers are shelling out $43.9 billion a year to cover the costs of education for illegal aliens. The study shows 10%-20% of students in public schools fall under the Limited English Proficiency (LEP) program which requires specially trained teachers for non-English speaking children in the classroom. Among LEP students, 74% are illegal aliens or children of illegal aliens. It’s also the fastest growing demographic in our schools that will require 82,408 new or trained LEP teachers by 2018.

This is theft and I don’t want to hear the cries of xenophobia from Barbra Streisand hoarding her $340 million net worth while telling hard-working Americans how much they should pay in taxes. The federal government is allowing foreigners from all over the world to cross the Mexican border forcing you to pay the bill for their child’s education. This is called global socialism.

Let’s take a look at some numbers while liberals make the cost of higher education a top issue in the 2016 election.

American students

– 3.5 million students graduate high school every year

– 65.9% of them enroll in college

– 83% say they can’t afford tuition

– 1.19 million fail to enroll

Illegal Alien students

LEP student performance is so terrible that educators created a new term. Long Term English Language Learners (LTEL) are pupils who have been enrolled in school for six or more years but are making scant progress learning English. Three out of every five students in California fall into this category and the National Education Association estimates that nationwide, the term applies to anywhere from one quarter to half of all LEP students.

Only 39 percent of LEP pupils in New York, 24 percent in Nevada and 20 percent in Arizona graduate on time. Of course, taxpayers continue to shell out for students who stay in high school longer than four years.

The mayor of Lynn, Massachusetts, admitted that adult illegal aliens are enrolled in city high schools, that illegal immigrant students often repeat grades and that an influx of immigrants is straining the school system and other city services

Without illegal aliens in America, we could afford to give 880,000 4-year scholarships every year to underprivileged students looking to seek a higher education. This is what putting America first is about. America is not a Hollywood actor with millions of dollars living in a bubble surrounded by servants. It’s a country of 330 million people and 43 million of them are on food stamps. Our schools are overcrowded. Education budgets are being cut while our taxes are skyrocketing and we’re being told it’s bigotry to stop putting the best interests of ourselves before the rest of the world. Donald Trump put it best.
