Reports coming in say that a man shouted “Allahu akbar” as he opened fire at a shop at the As Lagoas region in Spain. He was also wearing what is being called a “suicide vest”, and was reported to been carrying gunpowder and gasoline within it.

Fortunately none were harmed and the man was apprehended before causing any major harm.

Updates will be added as/if they come in.

Updates: The attacker’s identity has not been released yet, but it is known that he is in his mid-thirties. He was armed with a shotgun at the time. An officer on scene, Carlos Perez, was shot at by the gunman when Perez tried to take him down. Backup came soon after and was able to aid Perez in apprehending the attacker.
